Ahmedabad traffic police arrests 6 for rash driving on SG Highway

Ahmedabad: City traffic police announced on Sunday that they have apprehended six men accused of performing stunts on SG Highway and nearby roads on August 18. The SG-2 division traffic police took action on Saturday, nearly a week after the incident, following the viral spread of a video documenting it. According to the police, the suspects drove their cars parallel on the road and recklessly in heavy traffic, jeopardizing the safety of others.
The individuals identified are Max Patel, 19, from Gota; Pritam Semaria, 26, from Kadi in Mehsana; Govind Singh Chauhan, 30, from Ramol; Mitesh Goswami, 27, from Gota; Ashish Prajapati, 26, from Ranip; and Ishwar Rathod, 22, from Vastral.
One suspect, Manish Goswami, remains at large. Authorities stated that Manish had purchased a new SUV, which he drove from Vastral. He and the other suspects later drove from Gota to Sanand Circle on SG Road on August 18. DeshGujarat
