7 bridges in Vadodara closed as Vishwamitri water level crosses 30 ft mark

Vadodara: All seven bridges over river Vishwamitri in Vadodara city are shut for traffic late in the evening today as the level of Vishwamitri river crossed 30 ft mark at Kala Ghoda bridge.
While Kala Ghoda bridge was shut as soon as the level of Vishwamitri went beyond 28 ft, the other bridges are closed as the level has gone beyond 30 ft.
The bridges that are shut for the people are Mangal Pandey bridge, Mujmahuda bridge, Fatehganj-EME bridge, Atladra – Manjalpur bridge, Sama – Harni bridge, Vadsar – Land hall bridge, Narhari hospital – Kashiba children hospital bridge.
The city police has declared traffic diversion for commuters. The bridges are likely to be reopened after the level of water at Kala Ghoda bridge goes down below 30 ft. Kala Ghoda bridge is likely to be reopened only after Vishwamitri water level there goes below 28 ft mark. DeshGujarat
