AUDA reopens Tragad underpass after prolonged closure due to waterlogging

Ahmedaba: Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) today in a formal press release made announcement that Tragad underpass on Sardar Patel ring road will be reopened today at 10 pm after its cleaning. The underpass was closed for traffic for prolonged period due to waterlogging followig heavy rains in the city. Locals had recently protested prolonged closure of the underpass and demanded fast reopening. Subsequently the water was pumped out and the underpass was cleaned before its reopening today post 10 pm as per the AUDA press release. The underpass connects Chandkheda-Koba circle highway to Sarkhej -Gandhinagar highway.
