Ahmedabad Crime Branch seizes 200 kg of narcotics from truck; 3 held

Ahmedabad: The Local Crime Branch today seized over 200 kg of narcotics found in a truck. The cops also arrested three individuals who intended to deliver the illegal stash in Vatva GIDC.
Acting on a tip-off, the Ahmedabad Crime Branch searched the truck and recovered an estimated quantity of over 200 kg of marijuana and MD drugs. The three accused who have been arrested in the operation hail from Odisha and had transported these narcotics in a truck with the intention of delivering them to someone in Vatva GIDC of Ahmedabad.
There are suspicions that the accused may have made deliveries to other states and to other places in Gujarat, which will be investigated. Further inquiries are also underway to determine who was supposed to receive this shipment. DeshGujarat
