Kheda: Tense situation in Kathlal inKheda district of Central Gujarat was controlled by local police. The tension occured after an incident in which the mob of Muslims attacked Hindu father-son over the issue of vehicle driving and overtake on Saturday evening. A group of Hindus rushed to police station after the incident and demanded justice, following which the mobs of Muslims also gathered there. Police had to use force to control the mobs and violence in which several vehicles were damaged.

Police have booked one Vasim Khokhar in this case along with the unidentified persons from Khokharwada.  The complaint was filed by Satishkumar Gor, a 60 years old victim who was attacked at Khokharwada bridge by a group of five to seven persons including Vasim Khokhar who slapped Satish Gor. Vasim and others also attacked Satish Gor’s son, looted Rs. 4500 and a key of bike and thrashed the father son. Vasim and others left the place after the locals from nearyby rushed there.

A seperate FIR has been filed in the incident of tension outside the police station, some five to six bikes and Prince Mobile shop suffered damages, while one bike was found partially torched. DeshGujarat
