Wild sloth bear straying at Ambaji Gabbar hill captured by forest department

Ambaji: Ahead of the Bhadarvi Poonam fair, the forest department has captured a wild sloth bear from Ambaji gabbar hill. The wild bear was captured after the use of tranquilizing gun shot. It was captured at 10 pm on Saturday after hours long operation by the forest department.
The wild bear was straying at Gabbar hill for last mont or so. It was spotted multiple times at Gabbar hill where a ver popular temple is located. Thousands of pilgrims pay visit to Gabbar hill every day. Even more people would visit it during upcoming Bhadarvi Poonam fair. There was a fear among the local shop keepers and visitors in the backdrop of various news reports regarding the presence of sloth bear on Gabbar hill.
The captured sloth bear would be released in suitable deep forest area away from Gabbar hill. DeshGujarat
