Ahmedabad: The redevelopment work at Kalupur Junction in the city is underway, prompting the city police commissioner to announce the closure of a key road leading to the railway station for a period of three years. Amid the road closure, the AMTS (Amdavad Municipal Transport Service), a public transport unit of the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC), has announced alternate routes for the AMTS bus service.

In a press release, AMTS stated that, as per the notification issued by the Commissioner of Police, Ahmedabad City, on 10-9-2024, the redevelopment of Kalupur Railway Station has commenced. Due to this, the road from Kalupur to Sarangpur will be converted to one-way from 11-7-2024 until further notice.
