Surat: After experiencing over a week of dry weather, with only light to moderate rainfall in some areas, Gujarat is expected to see a return of heavy rain next week. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted heavy rainfall in parts of South Gujarat from September 25th to 27th.

According to the IMD bulletin, a yellow warning has been issued for possible heavy rains at isolated locations in the South Gujarat districts of Navsari and Valsad, as well as in Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli on September 25, 26, and 27. Additionally, conditions are becoming favorable for the withdrawal of the Southwest Monsoon from parts of West Rajasthan and Kutch starting September 23rd.
