A company in Israel inks MoU for 10,000 drones from Surat based FPV

Surat: Surat-based InsideFPV has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Israel-based UAV Dynamics for the supply of 10,000 drones over the next 10 years. According to the pact, the city-based company will supply 1,000 drones each year to Israel.

Recently, InsideFPV achieved a milestone by being adjudged the winner of Him-Dron-A-thon at Himtech 2024, conducted by the Indian Army and FICCI during September 17-18.

The Gujarat-based firm’s display at the event was highlighted by agility and performance in the FPV category, as their Advik drone completed all 9 obstacles in a time of 2 minutes and 36 seconds, with a payload of 120 grams (camera), at the speed of 200 kph at a takeoff altitude of 15,600 feet with a range of 5,855 meters. The drone also operated at a temperature of 4 degrees Celsius with a wind speed of 8 kmph which further strengthened its bid to win the top spot.

Mr. Arth Chowdhary, CEO of InsideFPV, offered his take on the collaboration in detail, saying, “As a company dedicated to solving problems through extensive R&D, we tackled the issue of flight time, leading to significant improvements. Recognizing India’s nascent stage in drone technology, we established drone labs in schools and colleges. Our agreement to supply 10,000 drones underscores our commitment to India’s Make in India initiative and vision to become a global drone manufacturing hub. We eagerly anticipate further advancements in the drone sector by doing R&D.”

Mr. Tal Appelbaum, CEO of UAV Dynamix, emphasized the growing needs of UAVs in various aspects of modern aviation, saying, “From surveillance to surveying operations, the growing dependence of UAVs is critical to shape the future of modern aviation. InsideFPV represents India’s technological brilliance, and coupled with UAV Dynamix’s substantial experience in the sector and extensive network of international pilots, drone technology in aerial imagery, surveillance and surveying will mark a sizable contribution to the future of this sector”

Since its establishment in 2020, the Surat-based firm has acquired over three design rights while applying for more than 12 patents. This development comes right after InsideFPV’s achievement of registering a flight time of 141 minutes on a single charge, while breaking the Guinness World Record in the same category, which is in the pipeline. The firm’s innovation is further highlighted by its ability to control drones from 7,000 kilometers away (Netherlands, Oman, and Bangalore). Presently, the firm is engaged in R&D efforts to enhance the efficiency of its offerings, aligning with the requirements of its extensive clientele. Since its establishment, InsideFPV has served over 40 regiments of the Indian Army and Para SF, becoming one of India’s most advanced defense drone exporters to key international markets. DeshGujarat
