Railway police summon content creator for viral reel shot on railway track

Navsari: The Railway Police has summoned local video creator Saloni Tandel to the RPF station for making reels on the railway line of the DFC (Dedicated Freight Corridor) passing through Navsari. This comes just days after a tragic accident in which two friends, busy on their mobile phones, died after being hit by a goods train on the DFC railway line in Navsari.
In the reel, content creator Saloni Tandel can be seen performing with two youths to a Bollywood song on the railway track. The video was then uploaded to various social media platforms, sparking viral controversy.
Regarding the matter, Navsari RPF PI Mahendra Rajoria said that the girl has been called to the police station. Action will be taken against her under the Railway Protection Force Act. “Making this kind of video causes accidents on railway tracks, so action is necessary to prevent this type of behavior from happening again,” he added.
Saloni Tandel is active on social media and frequently creates and uploads new videos. She has thousands of followers across different platforms. After the reel on the railway track went viral and caused controversy, Saloni acknowledged her mistake, saying, “This is my fault; I won’t make this type of video again.” She also mentioned that she was cautious while shooting to avoid accidents.
