Small shops, restaurants, cafes to remain open till late night during Garba days in Navratri: MoS Home

Gandhinagar: Minister of State for Home Affairs, Harsh Sanghvi, today announced that the government is working to make all the necessary arrangements for people to celebrate Navratri until late at night. He also announced that shops, lorries, restaurants, and cafes will be allowed to remain open till late night during this occasion.
MoS Home took to X and said, “The auspicious occasion of Navratri is just a few days away, and all the citizens of Gujarat are ready to be drenched in devotion to Maa Amba. During this sacred time, the government of Gujarat, under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel for several years, has always worked to ensure that Garba enthusiasts (Khelaiyas) can play Garba in devotion to Maa Amba until late at night. At the same time, small businesses like lorries and parlours can earn through their trade. This year as well, as per the direction of the CM, the police have been instructed to take on extra load for 10 days so that medium and small businesses, shops, and restaurants can earn their livelihood, and citizens can celebrate Navratri with zeal and enthusiasm.”
“At the same time, I request all Khelaiyas and organizers to ensure that the music, DJs, and bands do not cause problems for our neighbors and locals. The state government is making all arrangements so you can play Garba until late at night, but I fully trust that you will carry out your duty as responsible citizens, ” he added. DeshGujarat
