HM Amit Shah to visit Gujarat on Oct 3; to launch ₹446 crore projects

Ahmedabad: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit his home state of Gujarat on Thursday, during which he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for development projects totaling ₹446.90 crore.

Shah will launch a medical camp and a mobile medical van in the Gota ward, followed by the inauguration of a tele-rehabilitation center and a soundproof room at Sola Medical College. Additionally, he will open the Gota vegetable market and Bhadaj Primary School.

According to Devang Dani, chairman of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) standing committee, the Union Minister will inaugurate development projects worth ₹105.99 crore. These include a library in Chandlodia built at a cost of ₹4.23 crore, the Gota vegetable market (₹3.26 crore), the Prahladnagar vegetable market (₹4.38 crore), Sola Lake (₹4.71 crore), Bhadaj Primary School (₹2.10 crore), and a waste-to-compost plant in Gyaspur constructed for ₹36 crore.

During the visit, Amit Shah will also perform aarti at his native place, the Mansa-based Mandir, with his family, as he does every year. He is also expected to inaugurate a new building for the city police commissioner’s office in the Shahibaug area.

Shah will also lay the foundation stones for projects worth ₹340.91 crore in various parts of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. DeshGujarat
