RMC serve notices to vacate 904 illegal units in Jangleshwar area

Rajkot: Rajkot Municipal Corporation(RMC) has served notices to owners of 904 units in Jangleshwar area and asked them to vacate their illegal units as the area belongs to Aaji river’s floodplain. During the very heavy rainfall recently RMC had shited 1400 persons to safer places from here. Moreover, as many as 904 illegal units here would obstruct the proposed Riverfront project alignment. RMC has served notices under section 260-2 and asked the owners if illegal units to vacate the land in 10 days or face demolition. DeshGujarat
