These 54 Talukas of Gujarat received rainfall on 7th day of Navratri

Gandhinagar: As many as 54 talukas across Gujarat received rainfall during 24 hours period ending 6 am today. The areas that witnessed rainfall are mainly in the South Gujarat and Central Gujarat regions. Navratri garba events are being held across Gujarat in open-to-sky formate and Wednesday’s rainfall affected such events at number of places.
The highest rainfall was received in Dang district in South Gujarat which was nearly 4 inches. Umarpada was the other taluka where over 2 inches rainfall was witnessed. The other talukas had less than 1 inch rain. Gujarat’s cultural capital Vadodara had drizzling for a while when Garba events were ongoing. The people continued to play Garba amid droplets of rain.
