Gandhinagar: 53 talukas of Gujarat received rainfall on 9th day of Navratri. Valia in South Gujarat received 2.4 inch rainfall and topped the chart, followed by Navsari that experienced 1.5 inch rainfall. Mahuva, Valod, Kamrej, Bardoli were the places (all in South Gujarat) where 1 inch or more rainfall was witnessed. IMD has predicted further rains.
