Another police complaint filed in case involving journalist Mahesh Langa

Gandhinagar: The Hindu newspaper’s senior journalist Mahesh Langa who is in judicial custody (jail) in connection with GST scam case, is now booked by Gandhinagar Police for theft and cheating related sections of Bharatiya Nyay Samhita. The fresh case is pertaining to leakage of documents and information from the headquarters of the Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) which functions under the Gujarat government. It is reported that Langa in garb of being a journalist would procure the documents and details from GMB and would not use them for journalistic purpose but would supply to third party. More details are awaited on this development. Police have not opened the FIR for public access on FIR portal as the “case is sensitive”. DeshGujarat
