Pavagadh temple to stay closed for some time for devotees on Nov 8

Pavagadh: The Mahakali Mandir at Pavagadh Hill will remain closed for devotees from 4 pm on November 8th until 6 am on November 9th. The temple will be closed as priests perform a purification ritual to cleanse the temple following a burglary incident.
Recently, a theft involving Mataji’s ornaments took place at the Mahakali Temple in Pavagadh. The police arrested the accused, Vidur Chandra Singh Vasava, a resident of Nasarpur in Umarpada taluka, Surat district, on Wednesday. The police also seized six gold necklaces worth Rs. 78 lakh and two gold-plated crowns from him.
