ACB Gujarat nabs incharge school principal for taking bribe

Gandhinagar: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has nabbed an in-charge principal of HM Khamar Girls School in Kadi, North Gujarat, in a bribery case involving a bribe sum of Rs. 14,000. The accused, Kamleshkumar Amrutlal Patel, was apprehended after receiving the bribe at Chhatral Char Rasta in Kalol Taluka. According to the ACB, a complainant in this case had opted for voluntary retirement and wanted to obtain his GPF, 7th Pay Commission arrears bill, dearness allowance difference, holiday cash bill, and GPF slips. The accused in-charge principal demanded a bribe of Rs. 14,000 for these documents. As the complainant was unwilling to pay the bribe, he contacted the ACB, which then arranged a trap and nabbed the accused after he received the bribe money. DeshGujarat
