Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat’s Revenue Department has launched a feedback center in Gandhinagar to gather public comments on 36 services available online through its Integrated Online Revenue Applications (IORA) portal.
The center was inaugurated by Chief Secretary Raj Kumar. According to an official release quoting Additional Chief Secretary (Revenue) Jayanti Ravi, the feedback center will collect responses from the public regarding their IORA applications. These responses will be analyzed to improve the effectiveness and transparency of the services, and where necessary, the services will be simplified.
Jayanti emphasized that the center would inform people about available services, including the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural land, inheritance applications, and adding farmers to records. She assured that these services would be made more efficient and user-friendly. “Citizens can submit complaints through the feedback center, where staff will directly address issues,” she added.
Speaking at the launch event, Jayanti also mentioned that the government is likely to accept the recommendations from the recently submitted CL Meena Committee report on land reforms. She further stated that the revised Jantri rates will likely be made public and implemented soon. DeshGujarat
