Gujarat govt’s 11th Chintan Shivir to be held in Somnath from Nov 21 to 23

Somnath: The 11th Chintan Shivir of the Gujarat government will be held at the famous pilgrimage site of Somnath for three days, starting Thursday, November 21.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated a series of Chintan Shibirs in 2003 during his tenure as the Chief Minister of Gujarat to provide a new direction to administration and improve the work culture within government operations.

Continuing this tradition, the 11th Chintan Shivir will see the active participation of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, state cabinet ministers, senior secretaries, heads of departments, district collectors, and district development officers.

The topics selected for group discussions and brainstorming during this 11th Chintan Shivir include employment opportunities in the state, income growth at the village level, the saturation approach in government schemes, and the role of districts and local self-government bodies in tourism development.

Each day of the camp will begin with a group yoga session. Additionally, there will be guided talks by experts on relevant topics, such as the use of deep tech to improve services, artificial intelligence, and data analytics.

At the conclusion of the three-day camp, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will also present awards to the Best District Collector and Best DDO. DeshGujarat
