Terminal of 84 trains originating/terminating at Ahmedabad Railway Station to change
November 27, 2024
Ahmedabad: The Ministry of Railways has announced the shifting of terminal stations for several trains originating or terminating at Kalupur Railway Station in Ahmedabad. These changes aim to facilitate ongoing infrastructure work being carried out by the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) and the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA).
As per the notification issued by the Railway Board on November 25, 2024, the terminals of two trains will be shifted from Kalupur Railway Station to Sabarmati Railway Station. Similarly, the originating station for 12 trains will now be Maninagar Railway Station, while the terminal for 25 trains has been moved to Vatva Railway Station. Additionally, the terminal for four trains will be shifted to Asarva Railway Station.
Beyond Ahmedabad, four trains will now originate and terminate at Rajkot station instead of Kalupur. Furthermore, the halts of three trains at Kalupur Railway Station will be withdrawn for one year. In the second year after these changes are implemented, 34 trains will no longer stop at Kalupur but will halt at Maninagar and Sabarmati stations instead. DeshGujarat
