New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi attended the Sneh Milan (gettogather) function over dinner at Gujarat BJP chief and union minister CR Patil’s residence in the national capital. The function was also attended by all members of parliament, members of lagislative assembly of Gujarat, National Democratic Alliance leaders. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the State Assembly Speaker Shankarbhai Chaudhary, Union minister Amitbhai Shah, Gujarat Rajya Sabha MP and EAM S Jaishankar, BJP national president JP Nadda, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Minister Hardeep Singh Puri among others also attended the function.

Gujarat marks the new year day after Diwali as per Vikram Samvat calendar. Sneh Milans are organized after the new year day. In a series of such Sneh Milan functions, Patil as the president of Gujarat BJP hosted the sneh milan in the national capital so that the Prime Minister also can also attend it. Patil is going to step down from the post of the Gujarat BJP chief possibly in later half of January next year.
