Traffic diversions announced for ‘Karyakar Suvarna Mahotsav’ at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: To manage traffic and ensure public safety during the ‘Karyakar Suvarna Mahotsav’ at Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday, Ahmedabad Police Commissioner GS Malik has announced traffic diversions under the Gujarat Police Act, 1951. The event, expected to attract a large crowd, including VVIPs, will see restrictions in place from 9 am until the programme concludes.
Restricted Routes:
The route from Janpath T Junction to Motera Stadium Main Gate, Krupa Residency T, and Motera T will be closed to all vehicles. The road connecting Nana Chiloda to Apollo Circle, passing through Ahmedabad, will be shut for heavy vehicles.
Alternative Routes:
Commuters can take Tapovan Circle via ONGC, Visat T, Janpath T, Power House, and Prabodh Raval Circle.
From Krupa Residency T, vehicles can access Bhat Koteshwar Road to Apollo Circle via Sharan Status and connecting roads.
Heavy vehicles traveling from Odhav to Dehgam Ring Road Overbridge can use the route from Nana Chiloda Ring Road Circle to Mota Chiloda.
The restrictions do not apply to: Event-related vehicles, Government vehicles on duty, Emergency services like ambulances and fire brigades and Residents of the restricted zones
