Minimum temperature as low as 8°C in parts of Gujarat

Kutch: Gujarat remains in the grip of cold weather, with temperatures dropping significantly across the state. According to today’s weather report by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Naliya recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 8°C, deviating 2.9°C below normal. Rajkot registered 9.8°C (-4.1°C below normal), while Deesa recorded 10.4°C (-1.0°C below normal).
The mercury in Ahmedabad dipped to 13.3°C, while Vadodara recorded 12°C. Coastal areas like Surat experienced relatively milder conditions at 16.2°C. Meanwhile, the IMD has issued a cold wave warning for Rajkot, effective until Saturday morning.
Maximum temperatures also stayed below normal, with Bhuj and Deesa both recording 26.4°C, marking a 2.0°C deviation.
