December 24, 2024
Ahmedabad: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) today refuted a fake message being shared on WhatsApp, which claimed that Ganga Samagra, a project of RSS, was asking for donations.
RSS Gujarat Prant Prachar Pramukh took to Facebook, sharing a screenshot of the fake message and said, “The Sangh has no such plans. This is false.”
The fake message being circulated over WhatsApp reads: “Appeal for ‘Maha Kumbh – 2025 Seva Daan.’ From 13th January to 26th February, the Maha Kumbh 2025 will be held at Prayagraj, where the presence of Mahamandaleshwars and over 40 crore devotees is expected for the holy Kumbh Snan. To make this grand event a success, the ‘Ganga Samagra’ organization, a sister organization of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Gujarat, is appealing for voluntary donations and contributions. Note: For donation details, please contact +91 9824368282 and obtain the donation receipt.” DeshGujarat
