Minimum temperature across Gujarat: Mercury below 10°C in Rajkot, Amreli, and Naliya

Ahmedabad: After dropping to 12.7°C on Tuesday, the mercury rose to 15°C in Ahmedabad this morning, as per the weather report of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) at 8:30 AM. According to the IMD report, the coldest spot across Gujarat was Naliya, where the minimum temperature was 8.5°C, 2°C below normal. Other districts, such as Amreli and Rajkot, also experienced colder nights, with temperatures of 9.7°C and 9.8°C, deviating by 3.0°C and 3.8°C below normal, respectively.
Meanwhile, some areas recorded above-normal temperatures. Deesa reported a minimum of 13.5°C, 2.7°C higher than the seasonal average, while Ahmedabad logged 15.0°C, exceeding the normal by 2.0°C. Coastal regions, including Dwarka and Okha, witnessed moderate temperatures as usual, with Okha reporting a minimum temperature of 17.0°C, 3.2°C below the average.
Humidity levels varied across the state, with the lowest recorded at 64% in Daman and the highest at 90% in Rajkot during the morning. Despite the cool conditions, there was no rainfall reported from any station across Gujarat. DeshGujarat
