Minimum temperatures continue to rise across Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Mercury is on the rise across Gujarat, with light rain showers in parts of the state. Ahmedabad, which witnessed light rain on Thursday evening, recorded a minimum temperature of 19.3°C, significantly above normal by 7.1°C, accompanied by 87% relative humidity in the morning.

In Baroda, the minimum temperature rose 7.2°C above normal and stood at 20.2°C, as per IMD’s weather report at 8:30 am this morning. Surat experienced a comparable minimum of 20.2°C, also 5.1°C above the seasonal average, with 91% humidity. Rajkot recorded the lowest among these cities at 13.6°C, just 1.1°C above normal, with morning humidity at 81%.

Naliya, the coldest city, which had been recording temperatures below 10°C for several days, saw a rise in mercury with the temperature reaching 10.5°C. DeshGujarat
