Ahmedabad: Over 90% of the construction work on the Naranpura flyover at Pallav Junction has been completed, and it is expected to be open to the public by April this year.
Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) standing committee chairman, Devang Dani, stated during a media briefing, “There are two bridges connecting the North-West, South-West, and West Zones. Among these, the work on the bridge at Pallav Char Rasta is over 90% complete. The launching span in the middle is still under progress, but the bridge will be ready by April. Once inaugurated, this bridge will greatly benefit commuters traveling towards the RTO or coming from Naranpura.”
Dani further mentioned that the Makarba railway flyover, near Torrent Power, is currently 85% complete and is expected to be ready for public use by the end of April.
In a move to enhance urban aesthetics, the AMC also plans to install vertical gardens on five flyovers across Ahmedabad, including the Helmet Circle flyover. DeshGujarat
