ACB Gujarat nabs female police constable in bribe case

Rajkot: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed a female police constable in a bribe case in Rajkot. The accused cop Anitaben Vaghela is woman police constable working at Gandhigram-2 University police station in Rajkot city. She was held after she received Rs. 1,000 bribe at the Cyber department room of police station.
According to ACB, a complainant in this case had submitted an application in the police station for his missing mobile phone. The accused woman constable demanded Rs. 1,000 bribe to hand over the missing mobile phone to complainant which was recovered by police. As the complainant was unwilling to pay a bribe, he contacted ACB, following which a trap was arranged and the accused police woman was held after she recevied a bribe of Rs. 1,000. DeshGujarat
