Surat: A 13-year-old boy lost his life while flying a kite with Chinese thread in Sachin GIDC. The incident occurred on Wednesday around 2 pm when a boy named Prince was flying a kite from a roof in the Krishnanagar area of Sachin GIDC. While flying the kite, his Chinese kite string came into contact with a high-tension line, and the boy was electrocuted. He was rushed to New Civil Hospital in Majura but succumbed to his injuries during treatment today at around 7 am.

The boy’s father informed the media that Prince had found the Chinese kite string while chasing a kite and appealed to citizens not to use Chinese kite strings. Police have filed a case of accidental death in the matter. DeshGujarat
