International Kite Festival 2025 Takes Flight at Surat

Surat: International Kite Festival is underway at the ground near Adajan based Riverfront in Surat, showcasing a spectacular display of kites and cultural performances. The event is being jointly organized by the Tourism Department of the Government of Gujarat, Surat Municipal Corporation, and the district administration.

The festival, held nearn the Adajan Riverfront, is taking place at a location opposite the River Heights building, providing a stunning backdrop for kite enthusiasts from around the world. This year, the event has attracted participants from 13 different countries and 11 states across India, including Delhi, Bihar, Karnataka, and Kerala.

A total of 75 kite enthusiasts are taking part in the festival, with 11 representing various Indian states, 30 from Gujarat, and 34 international participants. The kites being flown at the event are of various sizes, shapes, and designs, with some colorful and creative kites soaring high in the sky, creating a spectacle for the visitors.

In addition to kite flying, the festival features cultural events and musical performances, offering a rich experience for attendees. Visitors can enjoy traditional and contemporary performances, further enhancing the festive atmosphere.
