Surat-Mumbai Flight, e-Visa, and 9 Other Issues raised in CR Patil’s Meeting with Civil Aviation Minister

Surat: Navsari Lok Sabha MP and union minister CR Patil along with other local leaders of Surat and Vadodara Lok Sabha MP today held a meeting with union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu and discussed several issues pertaining to the Surat airport.

Patil stated – ‘today an important meeting was held in Delhi with Union Civil Aviation Minister Shri Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu ji for the development of Surat Airport. In the meeting, discussions were held to make the airport more convenient and passenger-friendly.’

Patil shared the topics discussed in the meeting that are following –

👉 Immediate arrangements to start Surat-Mumbai flight

👉 Provision of e-Visa facility

👉 Construction of a four-lane road for the main entry of the airport

👉 Development of auto rickshaw stand and parking facility

👉 Deployment of ATC staff required for 24-hour flight operations

👉 Scheme on PPP model for development of open spaces

👉 Accommodation for 400+ CISF staff

👉 Discussion on early completion of remaining work of terminal building

👉 Facility of LVP technology for flight operations during fog

👉 Better connectivity for arrivals and departures

👉 Consideration on implementation of Digi Yatra facility

Patil further said – ‘I am confident that these infrastructural improvements will help take Surat Airport to new heights and provide better services to the passengers.’ DeshGujarat
