Man nabbed in Anand for luring Hindu woman, sexually assaulting her while posing as Hindu

Anand: Another case of Love Jihad and sexual assault on a Hindu woman has come to light in Gujarat. The incident occurred in Napa village of Borsad taluka, where a Muslim man lured a Hindu woman into a romantic relationship after posing as a Hindu man.

The police have nabbed the accused, identified as Maqsood Rana, who allegedly posed as “Mukesh” to deceive the victim. According to reports, the accused manipulated the woman since 2020 and repeatedly assaulted her. He also allegedly threatened to circulate her photos online to coerce her further into sexual acts. When the woman asked the accused to marry her, he revealed his true identity and threatened her. Following this, the victim approached the Anand Town Police, who have now arrested Maqsood Rana and are investigating the case. DeshGujarat
