Tata Projects launches Skill Shakti and Nirman Naayak programmes at Sanand

Sanand: Tata Projects today announced the launch of worker upskilling initiatives for training, accredited certification, and financial support at Tata Projects’ Semiconductor Chip Plant construction site in Sanand, Gujarat. The blue collared workers at the site are being given the opportunity to become skilled construction experts and thereby improve their employability and opening doors to higher positions and better-paying jobs.
Upon completion of comprehensive Work Integrated Training, the workforce receives certificates, diplomas and degrees accredited by the Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC) and Kalinga University, enhancing their credibility and employability. Under the Skill Shakti initiative, Tata Projects aims to skill a total of a total of 1050 workers for FY 25 -26 , with 845 already trained so far in this FY 24 -25. The Nirman Nayak program has commenced its first batch of 30 students, with the next batch of over 50 students scheduled to begin in February, costing ₹1.33 lakhs per person over a span of three years.
