Four dead as a dumper truck falls on them in Banaskantha

Palanpur: A sand-laden dumper truck overturned and fell on a group of labourers in Gujarat’s Banaskantha district. Three women and a child died in this accident. Police said on Sunday, the incident took place in Khengarpura village of the district on Saturday evening when road construction work was going on there. While the dumper was trying to pass through a narrow path, it overturned and fell on a group of labourers engaged in road construction work. It took about two hours to take out the women and child trapped under the truck with the help of a crane and a bulldozer. All four people were taken to a government hospital, where doctors declared them dead. The deceased child was two years old while the other women were aged between 22 and 40 years. DeshGujarat
