Maharashtra may emulate best practices of GSRTC; Minister visits Gujarat

Vadodara: Maharashtra State Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik visited Gujarat today. Along with Gujarat Transport Minister Harsh Sanghvi, he visited the central office of the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) to learn about the corporation’s key activities. Afterward, he toured the GSRTC Control and Command Center and familiarized himself with the various services and management strategies provided by the Transport Department and the corporation.
During the visit, discussions were held on enhancing cooperation in the transport sector between Maharashtra and Gujarat and improving infrastructure facilities.
Present during the visit were Gujarat State Transport Minister Harsh Sanghvi, Transport Commissioner Anupam Anand, GSRTC Managing Director Nagarajan, and Secretary Ravi Nirmal.
The Maharashtra Minister also visited the modern Vadodara Bus Port, which was built under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model in Gujarat. DeshGujarat
