Holashtak Begins Today; to End on March 14

Vadodara: Inaucpicious period for holding aucpicious occasions like wedding, Yagnopavit, Gruha Pravesh and else – Holashtak begins today on March 6 at 10.52 am Indian Standard Time. Holashtak will be over at 12.25 pm on March 14.
However with 14 March, Sun will enter into Min Rashi and kick off Minarak period in which wedding, Janeu, Vastu, Gruh Pravesh etc works are avoided. However Yagna, Navchandi, Katha, Grahshanti, Puja etc can be performed during Minarak which will continue till April 14.
Every year Holashtak period comes around the festival of Holi. The word Holashtak is created by mixing the festival of Holi and the period of Ashtak or eight days. DeshGujarat
