Gujarat govt earns ₹17 crore from admissions via GCAS portal

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government today announced that it has generated a revenue of around ₹17 crore from the admission process conducted through the Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS) portal, which began on 23-01-2024.
In response to a question in the state assembly, the Minister of Higher and Technical Education stated that the total revenue generated by the government was ₹16,99,08,243, while the total expenditure incurred was ₹7,15,58,256.60. Out of this, ₹2,44,61,366.60 has been disbursed so far. DeshGujarat
