Ahmedabad: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 kicks off today, promising an electrifying season of T20 cricket. Gujarat Titans (GT), one of the tournament’s strong contenders, are set to play 14 matches in the league stage, with seven of them scheduled at their home ground, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

This is the 18th edition of the tournament, which commences today, and the final match of the season will be played on May 25, 2025. A total of 74 matches will be played across 13 venues, including 12 double-headers. Afternoon games will begin at 3:30 PM IST, while evening games will start at 7:30 PM IST. The city of Ahmedabad will host seven matches this IPL season at the world’s largest cricket stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium.
