March 26, 2025
Surat: The local police have registered a case of rioting against notorious anti-social elements, Karim China, Jafar Golden, and three others, after they went on a rampage in Rustampura-Salabatpura, attacking a paan shop owner and vandalizing his shop.
According to details received, Ismail Ebrahim Multani (64), a resident of Multani Dela in Ambawadi, Kalipul, runs a paan shop. On the night of February 28, 2025, Ismail’s son Shabash had hit Rahim Khan Pathan on the hand with a paddle. In retaliation, Rahim Pathan’s sons—Karim China, Mohsin, Nazim, Imran, and Jafar Golden—attacked Ismail Bhai, breaking two of his teeth.
The assailants not only punched and kicked Ismail Bhai indiscriminately in the stomach and chest, but they also vandalized his paan shop and a nearby lorry. The daughter-in-law of Ismail Bhai’s brother’s son was also assaulted. After spreading terror across the area and hurling abuses, the gang of five brothers fled the scene.
Following this incident, the Multani family filed a formal complaint. The Salabatpura police have now booked Imran Rahim Khan Pathan, Karim alias China, Mohsin, Nazim, and Jafar alias Golden—all residents of Multani Dela, Ambawadi Kalipul—under rioting charges.
It is worth noting that this Tapori gang is infamous for drinking, gambling, molestation, fights, and robbery. Local residents are now demanding strict action against the gang under the Gujarat Control of Terrorism and Organized Crime (GujCTOC) Act. DeshGujarat
