Lion enters house in Rajula’s Kovaya village, sparks panic among residents

Amreli: A family in Kovaya village in Rajula taluka was left shocked and terrified on Monday night when a lion entered their house through the roof. Fortunately, neighbors quickly gathered and managed to chase the lion away by shouting, allowing the family to breathe a sigh of relief. A video of the lion sitting inside the house has gone viral.
The family of Mulubhai Rambhai Lakhannotra was asleep in their home in Kovaya village, Rajula taluka, when the lion entered through a roof opening in search of prey. The unexpected intrusion left them in fear. Noticing the commotion, neighbors rushed to help and, after much effort, managed to drive the lion out. Villagers are deeply concerned, as reports suggest that around five other lions were also seen roaming the village market.
Kovaya village is situated along the coast and is home to several industries, including Ultratech Cement Company, with Pipavav Port nearby. The coastal environment appears to be attracting more lions, leading to increased sightings and growing concerns over human-wildlife conflict.
