Officials delaying citizen applications to face action: Gujarat Minister

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Government Spokesperson Minister Rushikesh Patel on Wednesday said that Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has instructed officials across departments to expedite the resolution of citizens’ applications and clear the backlog.
Speaking after the state cabinet meeting, Patel stated that the CM also warned of action against officers and employees who delay applications for extended periods. He emphasized that government offices must ensure a hassle-free experience for visitors and resolve their concerns promptly.
The CM directed officials to address complaints efficiently at state public relations offices, district and taluka panchayats, health offices, and educational institutions.
