Gujarat CM pays tribute to Bhavnagar father-son duo killed in Pahalgam terror attack

Bhavnagar: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today attended the funeral of the late father-son duo from Bhavnagar who lost their lives in the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and offered his condolences to the family and relatives.
Yatishbhai Sudhirbhai Parmar and his son, Smit Yatishbhai Parmar, residents of Nandanvan Society in the Kaliyabid area of Bhavnagar, tragically died in the terror attack.
Late at night, when their bodies were brought back to Bhavnagar, the Chief Minister visited the bereaved family’s residence and extended his condolences in person. He paid floral tributes to the departed souls and prayed for their eternal peace.
The mortal remains were transported from Srinagar to Mumbai, and then to Ahmedabad on an IndiGo flight. From Ahmedabad, the bodies were brought to Bhavnagar by road around midnight.
Joining the Chief Minister in mourning were Union Minister of State Nimuben Bambhaniya, Cabinet Minister Kunvarjibhai Bavaliya, Mayor Bharatbhai Barad, MLAs Jitubhai Vaghani, Sejalben Pandya, Bhikhabhai Baraiya, Gautambhai Chauhan, District Collector Dr. Manojkumar Bansal, District Development Officer Hanul Chaudhary, Range IG Shri Gautam Parmar, and other leaders, all of whom paid tribute to the deceased and stood with the family in their hour of grief.
