Punjab duo held with cocaine worth Rs 29 lakh in Gandhidham, Kutch

Rajkot: Two men from Punjab were arrested early Sunday morning at a guest house in Gandhidham, with 29 grams of cocaine valued at Rs 29 lakh.
Acting on a tip-off that the two men, residents of Tarn Taran district in Punjab, were in possession of narcotics and staying near the Gandhidham Bus Station, the Gandhidham City B Division police apprehended the suspects, Jaswinder Singh (48) and Satnam Singh (22), from Mukesh Guest House. Forensic experts later confirmed that the seized substance was cocaine.
The Gandhidham police have taken both men into custody and are currently interrogating them to determine the source of the drugs and identify their intended recipients in Kutch. Investigators are also exploring whether the duo has any previous connections to drug trafficking.
