Gujarat High Court to get 7 more Judges

New Delhi: The Union government today announced the appointment of seven judicial officers as judges of the Gujarat High Court.
Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal shared the news on ‘X,’ stating that the President of India, following consultation with the Chief Justice of India, had appointed the officers to the position of judge.
The appointed judicial officers are:
1. Liyakathussain Shamsuddin Pirzada
2. Ramchandra Thakurdas Vachhani
3. Jayesh Lakhanshibhai Odedra
4. Pranav Maheshbhai Raval
5. Mool Chand Tyagi
6. Dipak Mansukhlal Vyas
7. Utkarsh Thakorbhai Desai
In exercise of the power conferred by the Constitution of India, the President of India, after consultation with Chief Justice of India, is pleased to appoint the following Judicial Officers as Judges of the Gujarat High Court:- https://t.co/HzBFxtPWGB

Notably, the Supreme Court collegium in March had recommended the appointment of eight judicial officers, but judicial officer Rohenkumar Kundanlal Chudawala, who was also included in the recommendation, was not part of the final notification by the Centre. DeshGujarat
