BJP Announces In-Charges and Coordinators for Kadi, Visavadar Bypolls

Gandhinagar: Just a day after the announcement of by-elections for the Kadi and Visavadar Assembly constituencies, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today announced the names of in-charges, coordinators, and co-coordinators for these seats.
These bypolls are scheduled to be held on June 19, with counting on June 23. The Kadi seat fell vacant following the demise of sitting MLA Karshan Solanki, while the Visavadar seat was vacated after the resignation of then AAP MLA Bhupat Bhayani, who later joined the BJP.
For the Visavadar constituency in Junagadh district, the BJP has appointed former Rajkot city president Kamlesh Mirani and Jetpur MLA Jayesh Radadiya as in-charges. Bharat Vadaliya has been named coordinator, and Narendra Kotila has been appointed as the co-coordinator for the seat.
In the case of the Kadi seat, former Maninagar MLA Suresh Patel and former Patan district BJP president Dashrathji Thakor will serve as in-charges. Vinod Patel has been appointed as coordinator, while Himanshu Khamar will take up the role of co-coordinator.
The Election Commission of India announced the bypoll schedule on May 25. The process of filing nominations will begin on May 26. DeshGujarat
