Gandhinagar: Millions of children will rejoin schools on Monday 9th of June across Gujarat as the summer vacation ends. With this the new academic year of schools for 2025-2026 will kick off with its first academic session. The previous academic year of 2024-2025 ended on 3rd May and the Summer vacation began from 5th of May. The summer vacation period was 35 days long. With the end of vacation, now 1000s of schools across Gujarat with lakhs of students are going to reopen.
