Light to moderate rain likely in parts of Gujarat till June 17: IMD weather forecast | मौसम | હવામાન

Gandhinagar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rain in parts of Gujarat in its latest weather forecast, valid till 8:30 AM on June 18, 2025. No significant change in maximum temperatures is expected during this period across the region. However, light to moderate rainfall is likely at isolated to a few places on various days.

Day-wise Forecast Highlights:

June 11 (Day 1):
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, Daman, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, and Diu. Dry conditions will prevail elsewhere.

June 12 (Day 2):
Similar rain activity is expected in South Gujarat, including Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Surat, along with the same regions namely Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, Daman, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, and Diu.

June 13 (Day 3):
Light to moderate showers may occur in parts of Panchmahal, Dahod, all districts of South Gujarat, including Vadodara and Bharuch, and in Saurashtra districts such as Bhavnagar, Amreli, Gir Somnath, Rajkot, and Junagadh. Daman, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Diu are also likely to receive isolated rainfall.

June 14 (Day 4):
Rainfall is expected to spread further and may cover most parts of South and Central Gujarat, including Sabarkantha and Aravalli in North Gujarat. Saurashtra districts such as Rajkot, Botad, Bhavnagar, Amreli, Gir Somnath, and Junagadh are also likely to witness showers.

June 15 (Day 5):
Rain activity may intensify with more widespread coverage. All districts are likely to receive rain, barring four — Kutch, Morbi, Jamnagar, and Dwarka.

June 16 (Day 6):
Rainfall is expected at a few places across all districts of North Gujarat, South Gujarat, and Saurashtra. Isolated rain is also forecast for Kutch.

June 17 (Day 7):
Similar weather is likely to continue, with light to moderate showers expected in most districts of Gujarat, including Kutch, and the Union Territories of Daman, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Diu.
