Bhavnagar: Renowned spiritual leader and Ram Katha vachak Morari Bapu’s wife, Narmadaben Moraridas Hariyani, passed away late last night. She breathed her last at their residence in Talgajarda, a village in Mahuva taluka of Bhavnagar district.
It is learnt that Narmadaben passed away around 1:30 AM on Wednesday. Her final rites and samadhi were performed at around 9:00 AM today at their Talgajarda residence, in the presence of Morari Bapu. She was over 75 years old.
Over the past few days, Narmadaben’s health had deteriorated, and she had reportedly stopped consuming food for the last two days. Morari Bapu and Narmadaben were married in Vanot village, and they had four children together—one son and three daughters.
News of her demise has cast a pall of sorrow over Talgajarda, where a complete shutdown was observed as a mark of respect. Locals and devotees alike have expressed deep grief over the passing of Pujya Narmadaben, who remained a quiet yet strong presence in Morari Bapu’s spiritual journey. DeshGujarat
