Four Gujarat IAS Officers Get Central Postings

Gandhinagar: Four senior IAS officers from Gujarat have been transferred and appointed to key positions in various central government ministries.
Here is the notification issued by the state’s General Administration Department (GAD) on Friday:
Manisha Chandra, IAS (RR:GJ:2004), Secretary to Government, Panchayats, Rural Housing & Rural Development Department, is transferred, and her services are placed at the disposal of the Government of India for appointment as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence Production, New Delhi, from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
K.K. Nirala, IAS (RR:GJ:2005), Secretary to Government, Finance Department (Expenditure), is transferred, and his services are placed at the disposal of the Government of India for appointment as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, New Delhi, from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Saidingpuii Chhakchhuak, IAS (RR:GJ:2008), Managing Director, Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd., Gandhinagar, is transferred, and her services are placed at the disposal of the Government of India for appointment as Joint Secretary, NHRC (National Human Rights Commission), Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Supreet Singh Gulati, IAS (RR:GJ:2008), Chief Executive Officer, Development Support Agency of Gujarat (D-SAG), Gandhinagar, is transferred, and his services are placed at the disposal of the Government of India for appointment as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, New Delhi, from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
